As a member of the Division of Student Affairs, the Office of Residence Life supports the value of promoting student leadership and engagement opportunities for our residential students and student staff members.

As a recognition program from July 2024 thru March 2025 NRHH recognized 77 Campus Winners, 39 of those which won on the Regional Level. Of those 39 Regional Winners, 6 won Nationally. Overall, CWRU is ranked 3rd in OTMs in the nation, based on participation and winning nominations.

RHA strives to build community in the residence halls and enhance the Residential Experience. RHA advocates for the residents of CWRU by facilitating communication between residents and university offices, provides leadership opportunities for students in all residential experiences, and hosts events such as Casino Night and Res Hall Rendezvous. Nine of the residential communities on the CWRU campus are home to an RHA Community Council, which puts on location-specific programs, along with understanding and advocating for the individual needs of each community.

The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is a leadership based honorary comprised of exemplary residential students who value service and recognition and are committed to leadership and scholarship. As such, they aim to promote recognition and service throughout the residential community here at CWRU.  NRHH recognizes outstanding efforts by all members of the residential community through their Of the Month (OTM) awards program.
