We have introduced a list of Standard Computer Offerings, designed to meet the functional needs of university work. These standards were carefully chosen to ensure:
- Compatibility with our existing systems
- Supportability across departments
- Cost-effectiveness for the university
- Improved cyber security and regulatory compliance
The approved equipment list includes devices and configurations that are suitable for most roles and responsibilities within our academic and administrative environments.
Requests for equipment outside of the standard offerings may require business justification and approval from department leadership. This process ensures that exceptions are aligned with specific business needs and our strategic IT goals.
