Katie Van Dusen

Katie Van Dusen is a second year MBA Candidate at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Βι¶ΉΣ³»­. She is originally from Ann Arbor, MI where she attended the University of Michigan.

Katie is passionate Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ equitable community development and previously worked in philanthropy, where she managed arts and culture grantmaking for a foundation, implementing innovative community investment strategies and helping the foundation understand and evaluate the impact of its investments. She is particularly interested in impact investing, entrepreneurship as a vehicle for social mobility, sustainable business development, innovative financing structures for community projects, and workforce development in midwestern cities. She will be joining McKinsey & Company as an Associate upon graduating from Case.

Katie also maintains an active career as a freelance musician, performing throughout the American folk and singer-songwriter circuit, as a studio musician, and as section violinist with the National Arab Orchestra. She lives in Lakewood with her partner Robyn and their greyhound Pico.
