This poster is a quick guide for direct-service providers utilizing the principles and practices of Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT), the evidence-based practice. The poster outlines the four stages of treatment (i.e., engagement, persuasion, active treatment, relapse prevention) and provides a few reminders ΒιΆΉΣ³» the clinical focus of each stage. Display this poster in your office. Use it as a reminder to ask yourself important questions for each person you serve each time you meet with him or her:
In what stage of treatment is this person?
What can I do to keep myself aligned with his or her needs and readiness, willingness, and ability to change?
Also, use this poster as an educational tool. Use it to facilitate conversations ΒιΆΉΣ³» integrated treatment with consumers, family members, and community stakeholders.
