Soft Matter Characterization Laboratory is hosted by the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering at Case Â鶹ӳ». The instruments include thermal analysis (DSC, TGA, DMA, rheometer), molecular weight characterization (GPC), scanning electron and atomic force microscopy (SEM and AFM), and X-ray diffraction (WAXD and SAXS). These instruments are managed by two technical staff and a number of graduate students and postdocs.
