David E. Biegel has focused his career on championing community-oriented approaches to social work practice and authored more than 130 publications ΒιΆΉΣ³» caregiving for elderly family members, persons with severe mental illness and those with overlapping mental and substance use disorders. He serves as a consultant for the Ohio Substance Abuse and Mental Illness Coordinating Center of Excellence.
Biegel is the Henry L. Zucker Professor Emeritus of Social Work Practice and a Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Sociology at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.
